Group slides in Outline

I’m working on editing the Outline for my course. I have a few slides, and I’d like some of them to show up as subsections. When I click “Move Entry Right,” it does make the slide a subsection, but it also adds a “New Group” above it.

I don’t want a “New Group” there—I just want to keep the existing topic on top of the subsection. Is there a way to do that?

Currently, it’s not possible to place an existing topic at the top of a subsection. However, you can double-click on the “New Group” text to rename it or press DELETE to clear it.
